Miami wins Game 1 in New York, but concern for Jimmy Butler’s ankle is inevitable.
The player twisted his left ankle while driving to the basket with 5 minutes left in the match.
He later returned to the game to sink two free throws, adding to his impressive performance of 25 points and 11 rebounds.
During the post-game interview, Butler simply stated that he felt his ankle roll.
Coach Spoelstra deferred any further discussion on the matter, saying, “You just don’t know with ankle sprains, you know, I don’t even know if we’ll know more by tomorrow.”
