Bam Adebayo left Wednesday’s Miami Heat game in Denver due to left foot pain and did not return. The All-Star center will undergo tests Thursday after being seen limping postgame.
Without Adebayo, Miami was overwhelmed on the glass as Nikola Jokic tallied a 33-16-15 triple-double to lead the Nuggets to a 122-112 win.
Denver outrebounded Miami 61-38, including 21-5 on the offensive boards.
Coach Erik Spoelstra added that, despite Adebayo’s absence, “this was a game we could’ve put ourselves in position to win.”
