The Miami Heat have exercised the 2026–27 team options on the rookie contracts of Jaime Jaquez Jr. and Kel’el Ware, according to Keith Smith.
For Jaquez, the former UCLA wing who averaged 8.6 points, 4.4 rebounds and 2.5 assists in the 2024–25 season, this activates the fourth year of his deal.
For Ware, the Indiana big man coming off a rookie campaign of 9.3 points, 7.4 rebounds and 1.1 blocks per game, it marks the third year of his contract.
