Messina congratulates his players after road win against Anadolu Efes: They did an unbelievable job

Olimpia Milan coach Ettore Messina talks after the road win against Anadolu Efes.

“We were playing a team that has been dominating Europe in the last 14-15 months and they were going to show their character and their abilities and talent. And that’s what happened. We came probably a little bit too relaxed out of the locker room [after halftime] and that’s of course my responsibility because when all the team shows up like that, you as a coach missed something for sure. I’m so happy for my players because they won a game two times. They had to win the game two times and work like crazy. It’s the first time that we win both games during the week with two games, all the congratulations and the praise have to go to the team because they really did an unbelievable job”.

Olimpia is fifth in the Euroleague standings with 9 wins in 14 games.
