Kentavious Caldwell-Pope will remain with the Memphis Grizzlies for the 2026-27 season after exercising his $21.6 million player option, according to ESPN

The Memphis Grizzlies will keep veteran guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope on their roster. The two-time NBA champion with the Los Angeles Lakers and Denver Nuggets has opted into the final year of his deal.

Caldwell-Pope, 33, is coming off a season affected by surgery on his right pinkie finger, which forced him to miss the final 31 games. In 51 appearances with Memphis, he averaged 8.4 points, 2.7 assists and 2.5 rebounds in 21.3 minutes per game.

The option marks the final season of his three-year, $66 million contract. Caldwell-Pope joined the Grizzlies from the Orlando Magic last summer as part of the Desmond Bane trade. His three-point shooting has dropped in the last two seasons, staying below 34.2% after four straight years at 39% or better.
