Dubai Basketball have announced a contract extension for McKinley Wright IV until 2029. The American point guard was already under contract for the 2026-27 season, but both sides agreed to extend their partnership after an outstanding campaign.
In his debut EuroLeague season, Wright established himself as one of the competition’s top point guards, averaging 12.7 points, 6.1 assists, 3.1 rebounds and 16.8 PIR. He played 69 total games across EuroLeague, ABA League and the VTB SuperCup.
Wright was also a key figure in the ABA League, averaging 8.8 points and 4.7 assists per game while helping Dubai Basketball win the 2025-26 ABA League title. His extension confirms his central role in the club’s long-term project.
