Masai Ujiri sued by officer for incident after Game 6 of NBA Finals

Ujiri hit the officer in the face before entering the court to celebrate the victory

Masai Ujiri has been sued by police officer Alan Strickland, who alleges he assaulted him after Game 6 of the NBA Finals at Oracle Arena.

Strickland says Ujiri didn’t show proper credentials before entering the court to celebrate the NBA title. After being rejected, Ujiri hit the officer in the face.

“As a direct and proximate result of Defendants’ conduct, Plaintiff ALAN STRICKLAND suffered injury to his head, body, health, strength, nervous system, and person, all of which caused and continue to cause Plaintiff great mental, physical, emotional and psychological pain and suffering,” Strickland stated.
