Markus Howard drops 33 points in 24 minutes vs Partizan: I’m still getting used to the European game

Howard showed his impressive talent as a scorer

Markus Howard led Baskonia to victory over Partizan after overtime with a stellar effort.

The Marquette product set the nearly 7,000 of Buesa Arena on fire by knocking down 8 of the 12 threes he attempted, scoring 33 points and drawing 7 fouls in just 24 minutes.

Howard after the game shared credit for his great performance with teammates:

“It is just good to get a win in our home arena. Our fans helped us to get this one. Partizan is a great team, [which is] greatly coached, so for us to get a win in our first EuroLeague game at home, it is big for us. It’s been adjustment, transitioning to European game. I’m still getting used to the game and playing with my new team. Fortunately, I have great teammates; they welcomed me with open arms. Just to get the win like tonight, it was really big for our team.”
