Cuban and his basketball legacy
Cuban has played a major role in recent NBA history, having been closely associated with the Mavericks’ 2011 NBA championship.
Dallas, led by Dirk Nowitzki, defeated the Miami Heat and their famous Big Three of LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh in the Finals.
Although Cuban is no longer the Mavericks’ majority owner and now holds a minority stake in the franchise, he remains closely connected to the basketball world.
This time, however, it was the atmosphere surrounding Greek basketball — and specifically Aris — that caught his attention.
