Marcus Keene joins Trabzonspor as Turkish club bolsters backcourt

The Turkish side adds scoring and experience to its perimeter with the 31-year-old guard, coming off an impressive season with SIG Strasbourg.

Trabzonspor Basketbol has officially announced the signing of American point guard Marcus Keene, a 1995-born guard. The 31-year-old, standing at 175 centimeters, joins the Turkish club after a strong 2025/26 campaign with SIG Strasbourg, where he averaged 17.9 points, 5.5 assists and 2.3 rebounds, along with a 13.7 efficiency rating.

Keene was also voted SIGman of the season by Strasbourg fans, receiving 53% of the votes. The move represents another international chapter in his career, after previously playing for Strasbourg in 2022/23, when he averaged 20.2 points and 4.2 assists in the French league.
