Marco Belinelli has been chosen as new captain of Virtus Bologna.
Belinelli returned to Italy in the middle of last season after his NBA career and the title won with the Spurs.
The Italian guard led the team to the Serie A championship after twenty years.
Belinelli will succeed to Giampaolo Ricci who left to join Olimpia Milano.
