Marco Belinelli, a guest at the Emilia-Romagna regional government as part of the region’s bid to become European Region of Sport 2029, was interviewed by TRC, with his comments later broadcast on Sportlive.
The former Virtus Bologna captain explained that he is no longer working with the club and also commented on the new team:
“I’m following very little, I no longer work with Virtus. I’ve barely spoken to them since March. A young team, a surprise that could do well, the journey will provide the answers.”
Belinelli therefore confirmed that his collaboration with Virtus has come to an end following his retirement from professional basketball.
