Márcio Santos will continue his career in the NCAA, as the South American player is leaving Maccabi Tel Aviv and has officially committed to LSU for next season.
The 23-year-old, 6-foot-9 forward stood out in EuroLeague with Maccabi, averaging 6.9 points in 14 minutes per game while shooting an impressive 40% from three-point range.
For coach Will Wade, Santos represents a major addition in terms of talent and upside. LSU could also add Saliou Niang, who has reportedly received a $7 million offer from the university for next season.
