Marca has dropped the market bomb, perhaps putting an end to one of the most followed negotiations at this stage of the year: Mario Hezonja has reportedly reached an agreement with Barcelona, and even reports of a contract already signed by the Croatian player. Hezonja would have rejected the renewal offers proposed by Real Madrid for economic reasons: he would have wanted to have a greater weight in the team and thus receive a higher salary. For its part, Barcelona would have offered the Croatian a contract worth 3 million euros net per season, making him one of the highest paid players in Europe.
Real Madrid would have the chance to match the offer to keep the Croatian, but they are unlikely to do so, as the 3 million offered by Barcelona is almost impossible for the Blancos to reach, also due to the economic effort they will have to make to keep Tavares.
