Turkish club Manisa, a team that has recently brought several interesting talents to Europe, announced the signing of former NBA lottery pick Johnny Davis.
The guard, selected 10th overall by the Washington Wizards in the 2022 NBA Draft, has been out of the league since February 2025, when he was waived by the Memphis Grizzlies shortly after arriving from Washington in the trade involving Marcus Smart.
Davis spent the 2025/26 season in the G League with the Wisconsin Herd, averaging 15.1 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 1.3 steals per game.
Still only 24 years old, the former Wisconsin standout has time to rebuild a career that has so far fallen short of expectations.
