The 27-year-old guard leaves the NBA after 217 games and a historic 50-point performance

Malachi Flynn, who played for the Toronto Raptors, New York Knicks, and Detroit Pistons, has signed with Bahçeşehir Koleji, marking his first move to European basketball.

The 185 cm (6’1″) guard, drafted 29th overall in the 2020 NBA Draft, made headlines in April 2024 with a 50-point explosion off the bench against the Atlanta Hawks — one of the top three such performances in NBA history.

Across 217 NBA regular season games, Flynn averaged 5.5 points, 1.7 rebounds, and 1.9 assists, while also appearing for Raptors 905, Austin Spurs, and Charlotte Hornets. He now aims to bring his scoring ability and leadership to Bahçeşehir Koleji.
