Magic reportedly waiving Michael Carter-Williams

MCW has not played this season due to a left ankle injury

The Orlando Magic have decided to waive Michael Carter-Williams, Khobi Price reports.

The team needed the roster spot to complete the trade with the Boston Celtics for Bol Bol and P.J. Rozier.

League source tells @orlandosentinel/@orlandosports that the Magic are also waiving Michael Carter-Williams in addition to E’Twaun Moore.

Orlando needed to clear two roster spots for Bol Bol and P.J. Dozier.
