Lorenzo Brown, Maccabi Tel Aviv’s star point guard, will have to sit out for a while due to back pains that have already forced him to miss the game against Anadolu Efes.
He is not expected to participate in either the derby against Hapoel Tel Aviv or the match against Hapoel Jerusalem.
After the disappointing defeat against Anadolu Efes 105-91 in the Euroleague, Maccabi is preparing for a three-week break from the European tournament, during which it will try to improve in view of the final and decisive part of the season.
In the meantime, new acquisition Joe Thomasson is expected to gradually integrate into the league games. The medical team’s decision is to give Brown complete rest in the coming period to allow him to fully recover.
