Maccabi Tel Aviv will be without Iffe Lundberg for six to eight weeks after the Danish guard suffered a partial quadriceps tendon tear during practice. The Israeli club announced the injury on Tuesday, with an MRI confirming the diagnosis.
Lundberg faces another physical setback after missing a significant portion of last season with an Achilles tendon injury, shortly after joining Maccabi in November. The Danish guard had been a regular starter in EuroLeague this season, appearing in the starting lineup in all six games. He was averaging 7.7 points and 3 assists in 23 minutes per game, leaving Maccabi with the task of replacing his contribution for nearly two months.
