Maccabi Tel Aviv are reportedly already working on next season’s roster, and one of the names most appreciated by the coaching staff is Trent Forrest. The Baskonia guard is being viewed as a strong candidate to upgrade the backcourt ahead of the 2026-27 campaign.
Forrest, 27, established himself in Europe after previous NBA and G League experience, becoming one of Baskonia’s key players. This EuroLeague season he averaged 10.9 points and 4.5 assists per game, confirming his value as a reliable and creative guard.
Alongside Forrest, Alessandro Pajola is still said to be on Maccabi’s radar. The Virtus Bologna guard is reportedly drawing interest from several clubs, with Crvena Zvezda also mentioned among the teams following his situation.
