Daniel Theis has emerged as one of the most sought-after players in the EuroLeague transfer market. According to Israel Hayom reporter Tomer Givati, Maccabi Tel Aviv has already opened negotiations with the German center, with talks described as being at an advanced stage.
Following ASVEL Villeurbanne’s financial issues, Theis is widely expected to leave France this summer. Hapoel Tel Aviv was the first club to show concrete interest, while Barcelona remains in the race after missing out on Moses Wright.
However, Maccabi is now pushing to complete the deal quickly and beat its EuroLeague rivals to the experienced big man.
