After the Recanati family completed the share purchase, Sport5 reports interest from potential new investors

A 90-year family legacy at Maccabi Tel Aviv has come to an end. Danny Federman announced the completion of the sale of Fedanco Sport’s full stake after the Recanati family exercised its right of first refusal on the Federman family’s shares.

In his statement, Federman recalled the family’s bond with the club, beginning with his grandfather Yitzhak, Maccabi captain in the 1930s, and continuing with David Federman, a key figure in turning the club into a privately owned sports organization. Danny Federman also served as CEO from 2011 to 2015, during the 2014 EuroLeague title season.

According to Sport5, after the deal was completed and the money was officially transferred, new inquiries arrived from potential partners interested in entering the club. The Recanati family, now holding 58% of Maccabi Tel Aviv, will evaluate the offers and options on the table, with future ownership-structure changes expected.
