Maccabi Tel Aviv close to a new deal with Tamir Blatt

Tamar Blatt is close to renewing his contract with Maccabi Tel Aviv for another two years, according to reports by Aharle Weisberg and Or Shkedi.

After weeks of complex negotiations, the deal seems to be moving towards a successful conclusion. Blatt, who had exercised the option to opt out of his contract, thus becoming a free agent, is expected to sign a new contract that will guarantee him around $1.4 million for the next two seasons. At the end of the first year, he will have the option to opt out of the contract with compensation for Maccabi Tel Aviv.
