Maccabi Tel Aviv and Hapoel Tel Aviv have sent a formal letter to the EuroLeague asking to schedule the return of their home games in Israel. For now, “home” fixtures remain set in Sofia and Belgrade; the request also bears Hapoel Jerusalem’s signature for EuroCup.
After winning at the Roig Arena, Ofer Yannay posted “See you in Tel Aviv” a clear nod to Round 27 on February 5 versus Valencia Basket. The EuroLeague website still lists Sofia, though a change remains possible with months to go.
On Valencia’s calendar, December 18 (Round 17) at Maccabi is slated for Pionir in Belgrade, with Israel as an open option. The January 29 return at the Roig Arena is delicate after the closed-doors game, following a police report with CNI stamp citing a fivefold risk and potential EuroLeague sanctions.
