Mac McClung is officially in Girona. The 27-year-old American guard, standing 1.89 meters tall, has arrived in Spain and made his first visit to Fontajau, where he met the coaching staff and his new teammates.
McClung has also completed his medical examination.
“I’m happy to be here. I feel good, tired from the trip, but excited to be here and see everything. I’ll give everything I have and prepare as well as I can.”
“I WANT TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE AND WIN”
The former NBA player has already set his goals for his new adventure:
“I want to make a difference and win. I’m a competitor, I love winning more than anything.”
He added:
“I can’t wait to meet my teammates and try to make the team better.”
“FONTAJAU WILL SEE A GUY WHO GIVES EVERYTHING”
McClung also met with Jesús Escosa, Bàsquet Girona’s general manager, and Fernando San Emeterio, the club’s sporting director.
The new signing already has a message for the fans:
“Fontajau will see a guy who will give everything he has every game.”
And he concluded:
“I’m really excited to become part of the community and see your faces. I’m really looking forward to it.”
