Luka Doncic said that the goal for Slovenia is to win the gold medal at Eurobasket 2022.
Slovenia is the Eurobasket reigning champion having won the title in 2017 in Turkey led by Goran Dragic and a young Luka Doncic.
The guard of the Dallas Mavericks, who made All-NBA First team, spoke ahead of game against Serbia.
Per Eurohoops, “We are going to Germany to win gold. In every competition where we compete, the goal must always be the first place. We will do everything for it, but we will see if we make it. In 2017, no one took us seriously when we announced our attack on the gold medal, today is different. It’s nice when you see that everyone will make an extra effort against us to win”.
