Luka Doncic reflected fondly on his time alongside LeBron James with the Los Angeles Lakers. The two played together for a season and a half before James left for the Philadelphia 76ers.
Despite their early playoff exits, Doncic has positive memories of playing with the four-time NBA champion and explained what he respected most about him. “He just let me be me, and I really respect that,” Doncic told Chris Mannix of Sports Illustrated.
He added: “I had so much fun playing with him. And, like I said, I think we could have made some noise in the playoffs if me and AR don’t get injured. I think we had a chance.”
