At the Zalgirio Arena in Kaunas a spectacular final between the Lithuania – with the NBA duo Valanciunas-Sabonis- and the Slovenia of Luka Doncic. Whoever wins qualifies for Tokyo: for Slovenia it would be the first historic participation in an Olympic tournament.
The game ends 96-85 for Slovenia, with yet another incredible performance by Luka Doncic.
The Mavs star led his team to victory with 31 points, 11 rebounds and 13 assists, shooting 13/23 from the field and 4/5 for free.
Among the winners Vlatko Cancar scored 18 points with 5 rebounds and 2 steals, while Jaka Blazic added 16 points (4/6 FG, 5/7 FT).
For the host Domantas Sabonis ended with just 9 points and 6 rebounds, 14 points each for Jonas Valanciunas, Mantas Kalnietis and Arnas Butkevicius.
