Luka Doncic: I think we have proven that we can do it

Despite Slovenia’s 0-2 start at EuroBasket 2025, Luka Doncic expressed confidence: “The goal is to get out of the group. We gave our all, we win and lose as a team. I made mistakes, but I can do better”.

After the 103-95 loss to France, the Los Angeles Lakers star said: “We fought until the end, only gave up in the last minutes. Now winning is the only thing that matters. Against Belgium we must keep that pace”.

Doncic praised Slovenia’s bench and addressed Sylvain Francisco’s layup: “We shook hands, I didn’t think he would finish the play. But point differential can be important in the end”.
