Per Eurohoops, “I have played my last game. It was an amazing run. I want to stay in basketball but in another capacity,” Lamonica told Euohoops’ Vaggelis Ioannou.
He has officiated close to 1000 matches throughout his career.
Lamonica has refereed in 2 Olympic Games, 2 World Cups, 6 EuroBaskets, and almost countless EuroLeague Final Fours, starting from 2002 in Bologna and finishing with 2022 in Belgrade.
