Los Angeles Lakers are nearing Austin Reaves’ return after he missed 19 games with a strained left calf.
He was close to playing Sunday against the New York Knicks, but was downgraded to out shortly before tip-off.
Redick described the situation as “day-to-day,” with no firm timeline attached.
The Lakers’ target is Tuesday in Brooklyn, provided Reaves is fully comfortable.
Before the injury, Reaves was averaging 26.6 points, 5.2 rebounds and 6.3 assists.
He was also shooting 50.7% from the field and 36.5% from three on 7.4 attempts per game.
