The Los Angeles Lakers have officially announced the signing of former NBA Champion and Defensive Player of the Year Marc Gasol.
Gasol was originally drafted by the Lakers, with his NBA rights later dealt to Memphis in the trade that brought his brother Pau to Los Angeles in February 2008. He signed a 2-year deal at the minimum veteran wage (aprox. $2.6M per season).
