Los Angeles Lakers star Anthony Davis suffered a left eye injury during the 127-117 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Unintentionally hit in the face by the Wolves’ Kyle Anderson, Davis did not return to the court in the second half of the game.
There is optimism about Davis’ return for the next game against the Golden State Warriors. This injury follows a corneal contusion suffered by Davis on 16 March, which required specialist intervention.
