Lorenzo Brown joins Hapoel Jerusalem on loan from Olimpia Milano

Lorenzo Brown (1.96 m) joins Hapoel Jerusalem on loan from Olimpia Milano until the end of the season.

Brown brings extensive experience from the highest levels of basketball, including stints in the NBA and European basketball. He was selected 52nd overall in the 2013 NBA Draft by the Minnesota Timberwolves and, over five seasons, played for Philadelphia, Minnesota, Phoenix and Toronto. He also played in the NBA Development League.

Brown later played in China before beginning his European basketball career in 2019. Since then, he has established himself as one of the leading guards in the EuroLeague, playing for, among others, Crvena Zvezda Belgrade, Fenerbahce, Kazan, Maccabi Tel Aviv, Panathinaikos and, last season, Milano.

In the summer of 2022, Brown was one of the key players for the Spanish national team, which won the EuroBasket title, and he was named to the All-Tournament Team.
