Kevon Looney spoke about Klay Thompson’s season in his Golden State Warriors and expressed all his admiration towards his teammate. Below are some of the center’s statements to EuroHoops.
Looney on Klay Thompson: “We hope Klay stays here forever. He is a Warriors for life no matter what. Even if he goes somewhere, he will always be remembered here with a statue and a jersey hanging in the Arena. We don’t really talk about that. We know how much pressure there is to play in the last year of your contract, when there are ups and downs. You can feel the pressure. I think he’s handled it great, especially with the quintet change. He knows how important he is to this organization, this team, this city and the Bay Area. Hopefully he will stay forever. That’s one of my goals. Hopefully this core will survive.”
