Lonnie Walker’s future could be away from Maccabi Tel Aviv. The American wing, who joined the Israeli club last summer, still has two years remaining on his contract, but the team is reportedly considering an early separation.
According to Israeli media reports, Walker has been offered to Partizan Belgrade and Real Madrid, two teams looking for additional talent and scoring ability on the perimeter. The Spanish club has already been mentioned by several insiders as a potential destination for Walker, while a move to Serbia appears considerably more complicated.
According to Sport Klub, a potential arrival of Walker at Partizan would be difficult to complete, especially considering the increasingly likely signing of Luca Vildoza in Belgrade. The Argentine point guard’s arrival would further reduce the available space for another high-level addition in the backcourt.
