Real Madrid leader Sergio Llull spoke to the media the day before the team flies to Berlin to compete in another Final Four:
“I’m excited, the team is tough and prepared. It’s a special competition, we know how difficult it is to get to the Final Four in a competition with great teams and a very busy schedule. We haven’t done anything yet and wearing this jersey means fighting for everything. I feel anxious, excited and nervous to have the opportunity to be there and try to achieve something historic.”
“It is very difficult to win the Euroleague. We’ve won three since 2015 and before that we hadn’t won in 20 years. We had a very good regular season and very good playoffs. We have to do everything we can to reach the final on Sunday and win it. Olympiacos is tough and it will be a very physical game. We will have to rise to the occasion and give everything to get back to the final. When you wear this jersey you know the responsibility that comes with it, you have to give your all and sometimes it is not enough. We veterans try to instill in the new players that getting here is not enough, we must always give our all and fight to win….

The greatest virtue of this team is the attitude of only thinking about the next game. We respected all opponents equally. We have had a great season and now we have to aim for everything because the most important moment of the season begins and we don’t want to settle for the Super Cup and the Copa del Rey.
