Legabasket Serie A announced that they have reached an agreement with players and coaches associations for pay cuts due to coronavirus outbreak in Italy.
The season has been suspended in March and it won’t resume, as officially announced by the Italian Basketball Federation.
– 20% for all the contracts higher than €50K (gross)
– 7.5% for all the contracts between €30k & €50k (gross)
– No reductions for contracts below €30k
Each team will be free to negotiate with their athletes and coaches different conditions.
