LeBron James picked up his $52.6 million player option with the Los Angeles Lakers, though ESPN reports he has concerns about the team’s short-term competitiveness as they pivot to building around Luka Doncic.
Brian Windhorst noted that LeBron is “chilling and watching the offseason,” and while he doesn’t expect a trade, if LeBron requests one, multiple teams would be ready to make offers.
