Despite LeBron James and Anthony Davis playing well and being in generally excellent health, the Los Angeles Lakers have a fairly dismal record this season. James has participated in 34 games, compared to 35 for Davis.
“James’ patience has been tested” this season, according to sources who spoke with ESPN’s Dave McMenamin. James, though, is trying to concentrate on making the most of his position.
At this moment, the Lakers may bundle the contracts of players like D’Angelo Russell and Rui Hachimura with one future first-round selection that they can trade.
The Lakers’ 2021 transaction for Russell Westbrook was a grave error that wasn’t corrected until the 2023 trade deadline.
