LeBron James is still not ready to reveal his next team. During a live taping of the “Mind the Game” podcast at Fanatics Fest in New York, the NBA star avoided making an announcement despite questions from Tyrese Haliburton and the crowd.
Later at the CNBC and Boardroom Game Plan Summit, James suggested that his decision is getting closer: “I won’t hold you guys up too much longer.” According to ESPN, the Cleveland Cavaliers, Miami Heat, Philadelphia 76ers and Golden State Warriors remain among the teams pursuing him.
James also thanked the Lakers after eight seasons, mentioning Jeanie Buss, Rob Pelinka, his coaches and teammates. “Wherever I land, I’m going to do what I do best,” he said. “It’s going to be pretty fun. It’s going to be pretty fun.”
