LeBron James is targeting a mid-November debut, as he continues to recover from a nerve injury suffered during summer workouts. It will mark the first opening night he’s missed in his 23-year NBA career.
“LeBron is taking a patient approach to rehab,” said Charania, adding that the Lakers plan to re-evaluate him on October 30. The 41-year-old veteran is expected to ramp up gradually with extra conditioning work before returning to the floor.
