LeBron James is managing chronic arthritis in his left foot as he prepares for his unprecedented 24th NBA season. The 41-year-old Philadelphia 76ers star continues to follow a specific daily treatment routine with longtime trainer Mike Mancias.
According to ESPN’s Dave McMenamin, particular attention is being paid to James’ left foot and lower back. A back issue related to sciatica forced him to miss the first month of last season.
James left the Lakers during the offseason to join Philadelphia, where he will play alongside Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey. He averaged 20.9 points, 6.1 rebounds and 7.2 assists in 60 games last season.
