Lance Stephenson: “I want to come back to the NBA, I can give everything a coach wants”

Lance Stephenson is confident that he can help many teams in the NBA, especially during the playoffs.

During an interview with Hoopshype microphones, now former NBA veteran Lance Stephenson returned to talk about what he could contribute to an NBA team at the age of 33 and his desire to return to the league. Below are some of his thoughts.

On returning to the NBA: “Here in the D-League, I try to help the young guys any way I can, show them the things I’ve learned as a veteran. But my real goal is to get back to the NBA. I work hard, try to win games and have fun on the court.

On what he could contribute in the NBA today: “Leadership, winning mentality, helping the young guys, helping the team on the defensive end of the floor. A lot of teams need help on defense, especially in the playoffs. Tough guys that can play defense and win games. I can bring whatever edge a coach needs.

During this NBA D-League season, Lance Stephenson is averaging 15.0 points, 7.6 rebounds and 5.2 assists per game with the Iowa Wolves.
