The Hornets guard is accused in a civil lawsuit of severely injuring a child’s foot with his vehicle in 2023
LaMelo Ball is set to go to trial later this month in a civil lawsuit seeking $3.75 million in damages.
The lawsuit alleges that the Charlotte Hornets guard severely injured a child’s foot with his vehicle outside Spectrum Center following a Hornets event in 2023.
Ball has denied the allegations. The trial is scheduled to begin the week of June 15.
The 41-year-old took part in Philadelphia’s Blue-White Game in front of around 10,000 fans
