The Los Angeles Lakers have sent renewal forms to season-ticket holders ahead of 2026-27, outlining a significant pricing increase following new owner Mark Walter’s takeover. One example shared publicly points to a 14% rise in the section price, plus an additional 3% administrative fee if the invoice isn’t paid in full upfront.
Another long-time season-ticket holder in the 300 level provided documentation to ESPN showing a sharper spike: from $6,192 in 2025-26 to $9,035 for 2026-27 (it was $5,494 in 2024-25). That translates to a 45.9% hike year over year, after a 12.7% increase in the previous renewal cycle.
The Lakers confirmed the planned changes in a statement, saying they are “adjusting season ticket pricing for next season” and that the updates “reflect the current market landscape and demand.” Through 26 home games in 2025-26, ESPN Research lists average attendance at 18,877, which is 99.8% of the 18,910 capacity shown for Lakers games.
