According to Chris Haynes, Russell Westbrook has decided to exercise the $47 million player option for the upcoming season included in his deal with the Los Angeles Lakers.
Westbrook in his first season in L.A. produced averages of 18.4 points, 7.4 rebounds and 7 assists per game, but the Lakers failed to make the playoffs.
