The Los Angeles Lakers are being linked to several players ahead of NBA free agency, with the franchise still looking to fill out its roster and use its available cap space.
According to league sources, one name that has surfaced from multiple people around the NBA is Toronto Raptors forward/center Sandro Mamukelashvili.
Mamukelashvili declined his $2.8 million option with the Raptors on Monday. League sources believe he could command $10 million or more on the free-agent market.
He is coming off a career season in Toronto, averaging 11.2 points and 4.9 rebounds over 80 games while shooting 38.9 percent from three on 3.7 attempts per game. His size, shooting and versatility could make him an intriguing target for the Lakers.
