Lakers discussed Tyler Herro and Kel’el Ware before Austin Reaves deal

The Los Angeles Lakers showed interest in Tyler Herro and Kel’el Ware before the latest market developments.

According to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype, before Herro joined the Milwaukee Bucks in the Giannis Antetokounmpo trade and before the Lakers agreed to a four-year, $185 million max deal with Austin Reaves, Los Angeles had trade discussions involving Herro and Ware.

The potential deal would have included multiple first-round draft picks. The Lakers eventually moved forward by securing Reaves on a new max contract.
