Australian forward Lachlan Olbrich has signed with Tokyo Alvark, the player told ESPN.

The one-year deal will make Olbrich one of the highest-paid imports in Japan’s B.League ahead of the 2026-27 season.

After being selected by the Chicago Bulls with the No. 55 pick in the 2025 NBA Draft, Olbrich signed a two-way contract with the team, splitting his time between the NBA and G League. In 18 games with the Windy City Bulls, he averaged 19.2 points (59% FG, 29% 3P, 73% FT), 8.6 rebounds and 5.3 assists per game.

Olbrich played fewer than 10 minutes per game in the NBA, but still managed to record a triple-double, finishing with 10 points, 15 rebounds and 10 assists in a late-season matchup against the Dallas Mavericks.
